VINEYARD
After being cane pruned in winter our Chenin Blanc awoke to be met by a cool wet spring. Healthy vegetative growth and a reduced crop level caused by the cooler than normal weather, didn't stop great flavours developing. We picked later than normal and were treated with sweet crisp fruit just right for our Chenin Blanc wine style.

TECHNICAL NOTES
Colour: Pale straw with a green tinge.
Bouquet: Honeydew with a floral/honeysuckle lift and slight herbal undertones.
Palate: Soft and subtle with sweet lemony characters. A clean medium sweet wine with a well balanced clean finish.
Alcohol: 12.5% vol
Residual Sugar: 14.8g/L

VINEYARD
We have four Sauvignon Blanc and five Semillon blocks within the Redgate vineyard. Each block is treated slightly different, spur and cane pruned, irrigated and dry grown. We nurtured each block to its own requirements through out the cooler than average growing seasons and the resultant fruit adds a complexity and freshness to this Redgate favourite.

TECHNICAL NOTES
Colour: Pale straw with a tinge of green.
Bouquet: Rich with topical passionfruit, citrus and gentle fresh cut grass characters.
Palate: Palate reflects the fruit driven bouquet – fresh and racy passionfruit and citrus. A well balanced wine with a long, lemony, citrus finish.
Alcohol: 12.5%
